Joshua Dixon Elementary

This has been an exciting time for second graders at Joshua Dixon Elementary to step into a world of fantasy and fables that have been passed down for many generations. As a part of their month-long fairy tale unit, we had a Fairy Tale Reunion!  The students learned how to determine if a story is a fairy tale, comparing different versions of the fairy tales, and identifying traits of the various characters.  At the Fairy Tale Reunion, students dressed as their favorite character and created a reunion name badge displaying their character's name and traits.  Students spent the previous day completing Fairy Tale based STEM activities.
