Science Experiment

The Soda and Mentos experiment is a fun childhood experiment that most students have performed at home, in elementary school, or at daycare. We repeat this experiment with them after scientific method instruction to demonstrate an experiment with many variables and how to isolate and measure one variable at a time. Students in this particular class voted to measure the height difference based on the number of Mentos added to the same type of Diet Coke. The other two classes voted to measure reaction height of the same amount of Mentos in different types of diet pops. Results will be compared during class this week.
