7th Graders Discover the Electromagnetic Spectrum

Mrs. Sherwood, science teacher and Sgt. Boley, SRO co-taught an augmented lesson on the electromagnetic spectrum for 7th grade science students.  Students were provided practical applications of theories learned about light waves.  Boley provided equipment used in forensic investigations and law enforcement applications including the use of alternative light sources, IR frequency imaging, filters, and night vision technology.  Students were given the opportunity to apply what they have learned in classroom and experimented with real-world practical applications and equipment that utilized the theories they have learned.
