Kylie Cameron
“Columbiana High School Senior, Kylie Cameron, was recently awarded with the National Center for Women & Information Technology’s Aspirations in Computing Affiliate Award, the highest-level award in Ohio. Kylie was selected from more than 3,300 applicants from all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. overseas military bases, and Canada. The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honors 9th-12th grade women students for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. ”


She is currently featured on the NCWIT website and was written about it in the Salem News.

She will receive her award in May at a banquet held in Columbus!
