Columbiana Exempted Village School District is better equipped to keep all community members safe thanks to a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. A $3,885.00 grant was used to purchase three Cardiac Science G5 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) & accessories, fulfilling a critical need within the school.
“The Columbiana Exempted Village School District is grateful to be a recipient of this grant, helping us purchase three AED units to use at our athletic facilities,” said Erin Heasley, Athletic Director, Columbiana Schools. “We would like to thank everyone at Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for their generosity in allowing us to continue to keep our students, staff and community safe.”
The Cardiac Science G5 AEDs & accessories will be used at the football field, the track/ soccer field, as well as the gym in the event a student, staff member or spectator would need the life saving device.
