It is with deep sadness that we reflect on the passing of Mr. Dan Bekar, a cherished teacher, friend and mentor to many within our Columbiana School family and Columbiana Community. A true Clipper at heart, he played a significant role in shaping the lives of countless students. Mr. Bekar's commitment to education and community extended beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his roles as a dedicated teacher, coach, and Columbiana City Councilman. His impact reached multiple generations of the Columbiana community, whether imparting knowledge in the classroom, guiding students through physical education and wood shop, coaching student-athletes or volunteering in countless community organizations. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the Bekar family.

A pancake breakfast fundraiser to benefit Janet Prindle and Stacey Caron will take place Sunday, July 9th at CHS in the commons from 10:00am - Noon . TONIGHT: "Fill the Boot" Fundraiser to benefit first responders of East Palestine Train Derailment at Clippers vs. Bulldogs Boys' Varsity Game. All proceeds will be split evenly amongst Columbiana and East Palestine First Responders! See details below!
Attention Clippers: as of 11pm Monday the Columbiana county EMA has been conducting testing and there are no advisories for Columbiana County outside of East Palestine for the county. EPA testing has been from East Liverpool to Columbiana monitoring the air and they have received zero reportable contamination of the air.
