Parents of CHS Students - We hope this finds you all well. Please be aware that many CHS students were contacted today regarding their attendance, or lack thereof, in each of their classes. Students were given a “grade” on the degree to which they are checking into their classes daily. Although this doesn’t guarantee success on the actual coursework (which is reflected in the actual course grade), we believe that checking in daily, in each class, is the first step to success in these unusual circumstances we’re all facing. Thank you for all your support and understanding as we still strive to progress educationally.

Columbiana High School will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow prior to the upcoming school closure, per Governor DeWine. Each teacher will be presenting important procedural information regarding course requirements during this closure.

On February 25, CHS will be having a 3-hour delay for grades 9, 10 and 12. Juniors will report at regular time to take the ACT at no charge. Buses will run at regular time. Students who are not able to report to school between 10:30AM and 10:40AM will need to utilize busing at the regular time. A study hall will be provided for these students in the auditorium.
