Senior Graduation Practice Reminder:
This morning, graduation practice will take place at 9AM followed by CMS/Joshua Dixon walkthroughs and the senior picnic. Scholarship and award recipients from yesterday's award's program should report to CHS at 8AM this morning. As a reminder, our Senior Awards Program will take place tomorrow in the gymnasium. Juniors, you will also be attending this event in support of our Seniors. Madelyn Huber, Julie Mead, Nia Missos, Raegan Nappo, Sophia Perry, Mackenzie Powell, Salem Yarwood, and Kayden Zohnd represented Columbiana HS at last night’s ESC of Eastern Ohio Art Show.
Salem Yarwood received Honorable Mention in acrylics, Kayden Zohnd received 3rd Place and our District award for her acrylic painting, and Madelyn Huber received 2nd Place and selected as the Purchase Award for her acrylic painting. She will receive $100 and the piece will be framed and hung at the ESC.

CHS Athletics Update:
Varsity baseball plays their sectional-final baseball game today (Wednesday) at home against Crestview at 5:00.
Varsity softball plays tomorrow (Thursday) in the District Championship at South Range against South Range at 5:30.
The Track and Field District meet will take place today and Friday at Springfield HS beginning at 4:00.

District Wide Notification:
The district will release classes 2 hours early on May 30th PreK-12. All transportation will be 2 hours earlier than the normal schedule. Please direct any questions to the respective office(s). Thank you and have a great finish to your school year!! Good luck Seniors -- Class of 2024!!!
Columbiana Schools will operate on a two-hour early release at all three buildings on the last day of school for students (Thursday, May 30th). Dismissal and transportation will run two hours earlier than usual on that day.

CHS AP Exams:
AP Exam Week 1 starts on Monday May 6th. The testing schedule includes: AP Government Monday May 6th (Testing to begin at 8am), AP Literature and Composition Wednesday May 8th (Testing to begin at 8am) and AP Computer Science A Wednesday May 8th (Testing to begin at 12pm).
AP Exam Week 2 starts on Monday May 13th. The testing schedule includes: AP Calculus AB/BC Monday May 13th (Testing to begin at 8am), AP Pre-Calculus Monday May 13th (Testing to begin at 12pm) and AP Language and Composition Tuesday May 14th (Testing to begin at 8am).
Students taking AP Exams in the morning (8AM) will be excused following testing with a parent note and students taking AP Exams in the afternoon (12PM) are permitted to arrive at school by 11:45am with a parent note.
