Good Afternoon, Clippers Families!
To help keep our students, families, and staff safe and to make morning arrival as smooth as possible, we are updating our morning drop-off procedures beginning Tuesday, August 25.
Morning Drop-Off
• All CMS and CHS students will be dropped off at the rear of the high school near the band doors.
• All CMS/CHS students will enter the building through the CHS Band Entrance and will be directed once they enter the building.
• The CHS Band Entrance will be open from 7:00–7:30 a.m. Doors will be locked after 7:30am.
• Students arriving after the 7:30 a.m. tardy bell must report to their respective building office to sign in through the front doors of their building.
Please take a moment to review the updated traffic pattern and mock-up of the drop-off line before Tuesday morning. Following the designated traffic flow and drop-off procedures will help us keep traffic moving efficiently and ensure a safe arrival for everyone.
We understand that changes to morning routines take time to adjust to, and we truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and partnership as we work together to provide a safe start to each school day.

Attention Clippers: Student athletes who will be in grades 8-12th for the 2026/2027 school year have the opportunity to attend Columbiana's 1st ever Clipper Summit this summer this week Wednesday through Friday. This summit was designed to bring together student athletes and coaches for grades 8th-12th from all sports to build strength, confidence, and teamwork. During this event, athletes will learn proper weightlifting techniques, speed and agility fundamentals, and safe training practices to help prevent injury. We have a great lineup of alumni speakers and local businesses coming in to speak and work with our student athletes.
In addition to physical training, the camp will focus on mental performance, including goal setting, leadership, and developing a positive, team first mindset. Athletes will also participate in fun, competitive activities that promote unity across all Columbiana sports programs.
Our goal is to help athletes improve their overall performance while building a strong, supportive athletic culture throughout the school. Please sign up through the google link before Wednesday and see the flyer for more details.

Congratulations to Mrs. Trisha Missos on being named a "Key Clipper" in recognition of going above and beyond with students at Columbiana High School.
Our NJHS students purchased 250 flags to place at the American Legion. This was coordinated by the American Legion Auxiliary. Nicely done, Clippers!
Our NJHS students joined Interact to pass out flags for the Rotary at the Memorial Day Parade in Columbiana. Way to go, Clippers!

Dixon reminder: Tomorrow is our annual farm visit and watermelon planting field trip for students in grades 1-4. The weather is looking good, but as we all know, it can change quickly. Please keep an eye on the forecast and make sure students are dressed appropriately. We recommend older footwear, as some of the areas we walk may be dirt or muddy. Have a wonderful evening, and a Happy Mother’s Day to all of our moms!
