We want to assure you that any issues that may have been experienced are being addressed immediately by our new Transportation Coordinator, Ms. Holly Zeh, along with school and district administration.

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. CMS Open House/Orientation Reminders: Monday, 8/18 • 6th Grade - 4:00 p.m. • 5th Grade - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 8/19 • 7th Grade - 4:00 p.m. • 8th Grade - 5:30 p.m. Students may drop off their supplies in lockers (6th-8th grade) or homeroom (5th grade) during this event. Please park in the back of the school and enter through the CMS cafeteria doors. Go Clips!

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Saturday, June 21st, in the middle school cafeteria at 9 a.m. for any 7th and 8th graders playing football. Please contact caleb.sims@columbianaschools.org with questions. Go Clips!

This meeting is for parents of any students who plan to participate in CMS Football (7th/8th Grade for the upcoming year). Students/players are not required to attend this meeting, but are welcome. The parent football meeting scheduled for tomorrow (5/31) for the upcoming season has been cancelled. We will send out a notification when that meeting is rescheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Go Clips!

CMS: Reminder that fifth grade students going on the field trip on Tuesday will need to bring a brown bag lunch for the day. Also please have students wear tennis shoes/socks.

CMS: The district will operate on a 2-hour early release on the last day of school (Thursday, May 29th ). CMS students will be dismissed at 12:40 on May 29th. Have a great day & Go Clips!

CMS: The boys' annual basketball youth camp for incoming 6th graders (current 5th grade students) will be held at the high school from June 11th to June 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The registration link is below: https://www.columbianaboysbasketball.com/youth

Best wishes to Mrs. Sherwood, Coach Conrad, and the Almighty Cheeto Puffs as they wrap up Day 2 of competition. Our last update from Dallas, Texas, indicates that our team is currently in 5th place out of 84 teams within the division in the World Competition. Go Clips!
