Girls Basketball
CMS: Good afternoon Clippers! We will return to full, in-person instruction to start the third grading period this upcoming Tuesday, January 19th. We will continue to practice all of our safety guidelines to make school as safe as possible for our students and staff. Full remote students who have Mrs. McNeal will remain remote with an unchanged schedule. All other students are currently listed as traditional in-person students. If you would like to change your designation, please call the office at 330-482-5354 by the end of the day on Thursday (1/14). This will provide us time to building a schedule for your child and establish new seating charts in line with distancing protocol. Please note this designation is a commitment for the third grading period (1/19/2021-3/19/2021). Health and Safety
CMS: We will be operating on full remote from 1/4 - 1/15. No School on 1/18 (M.L. King Jr. Day). Our current plan is to return to an in-person platform on Tuesday, January 19th...either full return or a hybrid model. We will continue to monitor data and more information will be available as we approach that date. Students designated long-term remote will remain with their current schedules. We will ask for a nine week commitment regarding learning designation for the third grading period in the near future. Have a wonderful day & Go Clips!

Instructional Plans
CMS: Good afternoon Clippers! Columbiana will operate with full remote learning for the two weeks after break, starting on January 4th until January 15th. As a result, Columbiana Middle School will be operating on full remote until the end of the 2nd grading period. Full remote student schedules will remain unchanged. All traditional or temporary remote students are to remotely follow their regular schedule. Teachers will explain any adjustments to schedules during first meetings on Monday, January 4th. Students must check in daily with their teachers via email, Google Classroom, and Zoom for instruction, guidance, and information regarding course expectations. Students may use enrichment periods, and study hall periods to work independently unless requested by a teacher for additional Zoom support. Students who may not have the capabilities at home to meet via. Zoom are to contact our technology director (chris.earl@columbianaschools.org) or Mr. Martin regarding available options. More information regarding breakfast and lunch distribution will be available closer to the new year. We wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season. Have a great day & Go Clips!

CMS: Good morning Clippers! Tomorrow (12/18) we will have a traditional day of in-school learning for our pilots. We have moved our cute/ugly sweater day to tomorrow for our pilots' last day prior to break. Remote students, pilots and aviators should check emails and Google Classroom for further instructions from teachers regarding expectations for tomorrow. All students who are behind on their work should take advantage of the time off to catch up. We will continue to work with our local health departments and analyze data in order to determine the best course of action moving forward into the new year. Please plan for the potential of a hybrid or full remote scenario as this is possible. Once a decision is made, we will share that information through our notification system and Clipper app. Have a wonderful day & Go Clips!
