Good Morning, Clippers,
The School District and the Columbiana Police Department are aware of social media posts from Trumbull County discussing potential threats aimed at schools, which appear intended to cause fear among students and parents. After thoroughly investigating these posts, the Columbiana Police Department has not identified any credible threats to our schools.
Please continue to inform both the Police Department and School Administration if you notice any concerning issues. We remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and school community.
Thank you for your vigilance.

Dear Dixon Families, Staff, Bus Drivers, and School Community,
I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for their cooperation and quick response during the recent evacuation due to the water break. Your calm and efficient actions ensured that the situation was managed smoothly and safely.
A special thanks to the emergency response team, teachers, and staff who guided students with care and clarity. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and helped minimize any disruption during the incident. An extra thank you to our bus drivers for their quick response and flexibility and to our own Columbiana High School for hosting us as their guests.
I am pleased to inform you that school will resume tomorrow 9/6/2024, following the repair of the water break. However, please be advised that there is a boil water alert in effect.
To ensure everyone's safety, we ask that all students, staff, and any visitors use only bottled water for drinking. Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle to school. We will have additional bottled water here, at school, to refill as needed.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this situation. Thank you once again for your patience and support during the recent incident.
For the most up-to-date school information, you are encouraged to not only join the Clipper App., but also your child’s teacher’s class DOJO for notifications such as those sent today.
Have a great evening,
Dr. Sharshan
