Good afternoon. We have recently seen an increase in issues with needoh-type items (gummy bears, dumplings, etc.), including trading, missing items, and broken items. Similar to past concerns with trading cards, these items are becoming a distraction to the learning environment. As we move into the end of the school year, it is especially important that students remain focused on instruction, end-of-year assessments, and state testing. At this time, we are asking that students do not bring these types of items to school. Please know that we have plenty of appropriate sensory and STEM materials available for students during the school day. Items brought from home often become lost, broken, or traded, which can lead to unnecessary disruptions. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us protect instructional time.
